What should you say?

When I sit down to write a birthday, congratulations, sympathy,... etc. card I always draw upon a loss of words. Every time like clock work! I just want to write "Happy Birthday! Enjoy your day!" which is a lame inscription! So I decided to look up some ideas on what to write. Please don't get me wrong, you need to make sure each card is personalized and thoughtful in its own right... but here are a few thoughts to help you get over your greeting card inscription block:

Birthday Cards:
  1. All the very best of wishes for a fabulous birthday, I hope you have a lovely day!!
  2. Because you're you I'm celebrating today! Happy Birthday
  3. Happy Birthday - May love and happiness be today's gifts to you.

Wedding Cards:
  1. Wish the Bride and Groom a life full of love and adventure.
  2. Congratulations on starting your new lives together.
  3. We are overjoyed to share in the happiness of you big day.

Congratulations Cards:

  1. Here's to the excellent work you've done- Cheers
  2. Congratulations - and best wishes for continued success!
  3. Congratulations! Success suits you well!

Sympathy Cards:

  1. I'm here for you just as you've always been there for me.
  2. Condolences on your loss. May you find strength in the love of God.
  3. In Sympathy and Friendship Wishing we could be by your side at this time.

Gift Card Messages offers great little thoughts for writing the perfect card for any occasion.
