Thank You Card Etiquette

'Tis the season to write thank you cards!
The holidays are over & now you are sitting amongst all of your new gifts and dreading the thank you note writing process. I know and I get it, it takes forever, but here's the deal... YOU MUST DO IT! There really is never a bad time to write a thank you note, but in all honesty it would be good to get them out before the month of January is over.... 26 days and counting!
So now that you know what you have to do, here is a fool proof outline for writing thank you notes pertaining to gifts:
...........................................................................................................................
1. Reference the the gift itself.
Use good adjectives when referencing like; "Thank you for the lovely gift."
2. Detail Remarks about the gift.
"I just love the color of the scarf."
3. Reasons why you like the gift.
"I wear red all the time, it's perfect!"
4. A closing sentence.
"Thank you so much for the gift, you are such a great friend."
