Mom to Be!

Lauren came to me wanting to capture her family while their little one was still on the way. This was my first time sketching an expectant mom and I think the image is fantastic. Lauren is sure to be fiercest mom around in those shoes! And of course you can't leave out the original babies: the dogs! Donovan and Mia look ready for their close-up.

Introducing a New Family Member

Pets are family too! I love drawing people and their pets because I know what an important member of the family they can be. Whether it's a puppy announcement or a family card, including your four-legged friend makes all the difference. I think the folded card I did for this client is too cute! I love the flower details and the green/kraft paper envelope combination. What do you think?

These note cards for the Carroll Family are some of my favorites. These are great for thank you notes and other family correspondence. I loved sketching out their adorable family and I'd love to sketch yours too!
